What Does Corporate Event AV Actually Include?

What Does Corporate Event AV Actually Include?

"AV" gets used as a catch-all term for a handful of genuinely different pieces. Here's what each one actually covers.

The components

Sound. The speaker system itself, sized to the room, not just the guest count.

Microphones. Podium mics for speeches, handhelds or lavaliers for panels and roaming Q&A, each suited to a different format.

Screens and projection. Presentation displays, sized and positioned for sightlines across the room, not just wherever there's an open wall.

Lighting. Ambient room lighting, stage lighting for presenters, and mood lighting for the parts of the event that aren't a presentation.

Staging. Platforms, podiums and backdrops, scaled to the room and the format.

Playback and visuals. Video, music and any custom visual content running during the event.

The technician. The person actually operating all of the above during the event, not just setting it up beforehand.

Why "packages" don't fit most corporate events

A fixed AV package assumes every event needs the same mix of speakers, screens and lighting. A 40-person breakfast and a 400-person conference clearly don't. PYRE's corporate AV is fully modular, the same approach used for weddings, so speaker and lighting counts scale to what the room and event actually need rather than what a predetermined tier includes. Custom lighting setups and projection or screen visual options are both available as part of that same modular approach.

What's included with what

A technician is included with every lighting setup PYRE books, so lighting isn't something that gets installed and left to run on its own.

FAQ

Do I need to know exactly what AV I need before reaching out? No. A rough sense of your event, format, guest count, room, is enough to start the conversation. See [What Your AV Team Needs to Know Before They Can Quote Your Event] for the specifics that speed up an accurate quote.

Is a technician always on-site during the event? Any lighting setup includes a technician as standard. For sound-only or simpler bookings, confirm technician coverage directly with your vendor.

How is this different from renting AV equipment myself? Equipment rental gets you the gear. This gets you the gear, sized to your room, plus the person operating it during the event. See [What Is Included in Professional AV, and What Isn't] for the fuller comparison.

Because corporate AV at PYRE is fully modular, the starting point is always your room and your event, not a fixed tier that gets adjusted to fit.
